  What’s your favorite "News" website?

  news in general are supposed to be unbiased.

  but given how commercial and political interests get their tentacles around them, finding a fully unbiased news website is not so easy.. here in america some would rather trust bbc or reuters than they do cnn or fox news.

  This think called 'Freedom' is a pure propaganda tool to keep the mases pacified and aggressive when needed to kill people on the other side for the sake of "freedom'. I think the last time the USA fought for freedom was in 1776 all the rest were just something else.

  I think a shell game has reference to 3 shells and one with the ball under it, and the person has to guess where the ball is after they are shuffled around. So by the society moving around numbers from column to column in their books it is a shell game.

  i'm glad that nk wants to and is open to having talks with usa.

  i do think that nk is playing brilliantly and i'm sure kim is listening to his advisors were as i wonder about trump(i sure hope he does).. i'm sure advisors on both sides have done their homework, so it should be very interesting how this turns out..

  Trump just called him Rocket Man and I didn't hear Kim say: 'Yankee Go Home' or anything so the rhetoric is way too mild to be a game of Dozen. But who knows it could turn out to be one in the future will have to wait on Trumps tweets and see.

  I have none I type in my search engine and do a search when I read about a story to see if I can get more details. I have no favorites it all fake news for the most part when it comes to Trump so you need a couple of sources to try and get a clearer picture.

  Witness No More - any thoughts?

  for those who don't know , there is an ex-jw "activist" in the north of england called mark who demonstrates outside kingdom halls , focusing on the child abuse issue and similar topics.

  he regularly updates his visits on his youtube channel , which has gained something of a cult following .

  occasionally ( albeit less frequently , as he is now well known ) he gets into the kh & shouts and disrupts the meeting.

  I feel the guys pain, I was disfellowshipped for 'speaking against the organization' back in 2001 and was fuming mad for a couple of years and delving into fantasies of seeing them exposed on a major scale and crashed a few conventions but in time my anger subsided. I'm still looking forward watching them go belly up before I die,, just more settled down after those first few years.

  So I hope he finds some comfort for his efforts to expose the WT frauds. As to whether he is doing any good by creating these scenes that remains to be seen.

  Loesch's March JW Broadcast telling the rank and file to trust always the Governing Body, and most of the brothers and not to believe any media stories or anything on the internet that puts the governing Body in a bad light sure must being helping this exbrother's cause and so there may be quite a few JDubs that are ready to start trying to find out what are these negative things that they are not supposed to believe.

  I think these KH crashing thing will keep on increasing as many more learn TTATT. I probably will never do it again(?), but wish success of those who do. The JWs as far as I'm concerned can use a little excitement at these brain numbing meeting, and as long as no one gets hurt, I say carry on and 'do what thou wilt'.

  Leah Remini to tackle JWs in new special

  the star has a previous first-look production deal with the network to produce unscripted series following the success of her emmy-winning show “leah remini: scientology and the aftermath.” according to the hollywood reporter, remini will produce a special for the network during the break following season 3 of the acclaimed docuseries.. it notes that jehovah’s witnesses, while based on biblical teachings, have come under fire over the years for similar practices to the church remini left years ago.

  for example, practices of ousting or shunning members who have dissenting views, a blanket refusal to participate in politics and government as well as not celebrating christmas or birthdays are all things that the special will reportedly cover.

  additionally, the religion has predicted the literal end of the world several times, obviously to no avail.. .

  I hope they include some video's where the Governing Body are telling their member to trust only them and not the media that are spreading lies about the Governing Body, and Lett calling reports about the Organization is easy going on pedophiles inside the congregation as apostate lies.

  a newly published article by british sociologist david voas argues jehovah's witnesses may be about to experience a collapse in numbers.

  contrary to claims by american sociologist rodney stark who predicts strong future growth for jehovah's witnesses, voas shows that jehovah's witnesses' efforts at recruiting new members have become increasingly unsuccessful over the past few decades: the rate of increase has steadily declined, and the number of hours each publisher must preach to produce an extra convert has gone up substantially.

  voas suggests a reason for the stagnation may be that there is a natural limit to the number of people in a given population that are susceptible to conversion to sectarian groups like jehovah's witnesses - the 'carrying capacity' of the population, and that the limit has largely been reached.

  Being that the underpinnings of the Watchtower Corp. is based on wishful thinking, delusions of grander, and a nieve self serving interpretation of ancient bronze age writings, I see a collapse in the works.

  With lawsuit cases being fought all over the world the Watchtower clearly has over extended itself. Videos of proper record destruction, failure to comply with court orders to hand over records, costly appeals to eventually settle out of court with a gag order. This is seriously eating up their assets.

  They have many construction projects that have been halted or only half finished, they are being forced to sell their most valuable real estate holdings, Kingdom halls are being sold and congregations are being liquidated and combined to make the loss in active publishers not so noticeable. They had to rob all congregations of their bank account surplus over a few months operating expenses, by mean of a Governing Body mandated order which can not be rejected with out serious consequences.

  Printing literature is no longer a money maker, instead it is becoming a unnecessary expense with the advent of the internet and paperless information sharing.

  Mega lawsuits in Canada, USA, Australia, and the publicity about these will make persons less inclined to give even the hard core believer will eventually be effected as more property get sold and they find out about these legal problems the WT corp. is facing and where their contributions are going(to pay for bad policies made by the GB(faithful and discreet not!) that harms children).

  They may be able to coast a long as a bare bones minimal cost operation for decades but I sincerely doubt it will be worth the effort. If the court case continue to grow against them as this pedophile thing gains momentum they may have to claim bankruptcy when the funds dry up, and liquidation of assets can't keep up with legal costs.
